Change Management

"It ought to be remembered there is nothing more difficult to treat, no more dubia to succeed, nor more dangerous to handle, than to be led to introduce new orders. Because the innovator has for enemies all those who make the discipline of old well, and has tepid defenders in all those models would be good for new orders. This coolness arises partly from fear of the opponents, who have the laws on their side, partly from the incredulity of men who will not believe in new things unless they have had a strong experience."
Niccolo Machiavelli
